Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Continue With Kohl's Line Despite Divorce

Their marriage may be kaput, but their Kohl's line will continue on. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their split on Friday and Kohl's has been quick to respond to the news.

Our initial understanding of the duo's Kohl's line was that it would be branded with them as a couple. But the store says it was always going to have separate brands: one for Marc and one for Jennifer. A Kohl's rep says:
The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony brands have always been positioned as two separate, distinctive collections that offer high-quality contemporary style for men and women, and we look forward to a successful September launch.
Even if the lines were in fact conceived as separate, it would still be weird to have a divorced couple's brand duking it out in the same retail space. Would you buy a lifestyle line by a couple that's no longer together?
